First post in One Truth was on 9th January 2010. So I run this blog for a year. There was many good and many things in this 12 month. I really put my soul into One Truth. And it's great that now I read comments from people from Argentina, Chile, Serbia, Russia, Japan, Italy, Belgium etx with nice words. It is really important to me. And it's great that number of visitors is bigger and bigger.

Wish you all strong health, true friends and big love.

I hope that 2011 will bring me new life, new force and new star that will show me right way of living.

path to misery

When I started to interest in 90's newschool hardcore main storages of information were blogspots. I remember I found Stuck In The Past, then H-8000 Central etc. And one of the greatest interesting blogs was Path To Misery
http://pathtomisery.blogspot.com/
I discovered many interesting bands from it. Path To Misery is followed by AJ.
But Path To Misery isn't only website. Also there is hardcore band where AJ also played. This guys are really brutal political hardcore metal in the vein of Cast From Eden, Cherem etc. They mixed mosh metal with some newschool elements and strongly political message. They recorded really angry full length. 9 great songs! I like them. If you are tired from chugga-chugga and want some fresh energy stuff chech Path To Misery. All lyrics and some info about band included in .rar.

Some guy asked me through email why I put here albums that anybody could find in Internet without any problems.
So I need to recall :
In One Truth blog you will find only my own vinyl/CD rips in 320kpbs
And I put all releases WITH ALL ORIGINAL INSERTS AND COVERS
This are 2 main reasons why I put here albums that you can find in mp3 but I think that for many kids will be interesting to read lyrics, see inserts etc.

And if you have any problems with downloading something leave coments and I will reupload.

And now awesome 90's emo band Clock Wise who played shows with Endpoint, Falling Forward, Silent Majority, Tripface etc.

unveil

Awesome 90’s style hardcore band from Switzerland. I really like this band. Please check them and read lyrics!

We are a band from Eastern Switzerland and have been playing together since September 2008. We’ve played in several bands before and were now motivated to spread our ideas with our music, so we started the band Unveil.

We’ve chosen the name “Unveil” because we think that many people are not aware of how much is going wrong on this planet. We want to take part in making the problems known. We want to unveil them.

We don’t want to turn a blind eye to this world.
We want to confront the everyday problems directly. For us it’s no solution to keep reality away by using drugs. This is why we are a vegetarian/vegan straight edge band.

We want to communicate something with our lyrics. Our lyrics are about personal topics, political aspects and also animal rights. We try to let our emotions influence our music as well as our lyrics.

It’s not our goal to force our ideas upon somebody.

We just want you to start thinking about the consequences of your daily actions.

blindside

This week only best bands))))
Northeast USA band that played canonic 90's newschool hardcore in best traditions. They are really great and I can say their music is really unique - it's mix of Ressurection, Lifetime, Flagman, Mouthpiece, Outspoken. I listen this record again and again. Very simple and honest lyrics, great recording, bass player played as God,melodic guitar parts and angry emotional vocals made this band one of the best. And they are unknown and forgot. Maybe because they put releases on 1124 records (they also put Line Drive 7''). Later I also will post LP. Guys, you need to check this shit and I know you will like it.

spirit of youth, one king down

One King Down was an Albany, NY, based metallic hardcore band that played heavy metalcore heavily influenced by such scene contemporaries as Snapcase and Earth Crisis.
The group formed in the mid-’90s, centered around the brotherly team of bassist Bill Scoville and guitarist Mike Scoville, along with guitarist Matt Wood and drummer Derrick Van Wie. With their original singer, they crafted a CD EP for Trainwreck Records, but it was with energetic frontman Rob Fusco, and Equal Vision Records (for whom Bill worked for a number of years), that One King Down really made their mark on the international hardcore punk scene.
The diminutive Fusco’s growl and lyrical espousing of the vegan straight-edge lifestyle (not all of the band’s members were vegans, or even vegetarians, but they were all drug-free) garnered them attention from all over the U.S. and Europe. Coupled with the band’s stop-and-go rhythms and dancefloor-moving heavy groove, Fusco’s vocals were put to tape for the Bloodlust Revenge EP, released by Equal Vision in 1997 and still regarded by most fans as the band’s finest recorded hour.
The group toured with Erie, PA’s Brothers Keeper and other bands, selling several thousand copies of the record at shows and through major independent distribution channels. They also released a split EP with Spirit of Youth through Europe’s Good Life Recordings.
Internal friction caused the ousting of Fusco shortly before the band was to embark on a national tour supporting Earth Crisis and Madball, to be followed by another trek with Hatebreed. One King Down scrambled to find a replacement, inviting then Burn It Down vocalist Ryan Downey to fill in for them. This union only lasted for two shows before the singer-less One King Down returned home to regroup. Eventually, they teamed up with Syracuse native Jon Peters, who lent his vocals to the band’s debut full-length album, 1998’s God Loves, Man Kills. After subsequent touring, Peters left the band and they split up for a short time. Mike Scoville auditioned for the Foo Fighters, but the job ultimately went to someone else.
One King Down re-formed and Fusco was eventually invited to rejoin. One King Down released the Gravity Wins Again EP in 2000, a collection of newly penned songs together with older, previously recorded tracks. They played a few shows before Van Wie left the group, with Wood switching to drum duties as the Albany band pared down to a four-piece. In 2001, after skipping an appearance at Syracuse, NY’s Hellfest, it appeared that the band was done once and for all.

Spirit of Youth was a hardcore band formed in Roeselare, BE in 1990. They split up in 2002. They brought out 2 albums; Colors That Bleed and Source. They also recorded a split with One King Down.

They constantly switched with playing in Spirit and Solid, that was the other band of the Denolf brothers (Dompi & Fré).
After Spirit of Youth & Solid, Dompi & Fré begun their new band called Blood Redemption.

Line-up:
Vinnie - Vocals
Dompi - Guitar
Fré - Drums
Sim - Bass
Vince - Guitar

separation , serene

Springtime 1996 was the rebirth of the Umeå punkrock trio Separation. Up until then the band had existed more as a project by the side of Abhinanda since they used to share two members, Jonas - drums and José - vocals. Well, luck (?) had it that Jonas quit Abhinanda to concentrate on Separation and José quit Separation to continue only with Abhinanda and the Desperate Fight label. The other members were and still are Lars (guitars and vocals), and Axel (bassguitar). During 1996 their first CD release, the MCD “5th Song”, came out and they did a tour with Gislaved’s End In Sight during august. Really tired of the old songs they started to work on new ones under the following months. In December they recorded a song for the “Straight Edge As Fuck compilation vol. 3” that gave the listeners a taste of what was going on. A split seven-inch/mcd with swedish band Serene was released on the Belgian label Genet records, and later on the band finished their first fullength release, during a hectic period of combined touring and recording. The self-titled fullength debut came out in june of 1997, and it received positive reviews in both europe and in the US.

Separation have toured parts of europe twice and done three smaller tours in Sweden. The last one should have been a combined Sweden/Europe tour with the US act Kill Holiday, but things had it that they had to cancel the european dates due to theft of instruments and merchandise. To prove that they were not to be defeated by such occurrences, the band started planning new musical odyssees as soon as they got home.

Serene is a swedish 90's emo hardcore. They released a fullength on Genet Records and a split with Separation.

birthrite, 3 ton bridge

Guys. I was searching for this seven inch something like 8-9 months. Than I found it in Belgium and buy. It's one of the best and rarest records in my collection I think.
So 3 Ton Bridge is awesome 90's emo punk from USA. Guys you should check them! 0 plays on last.fm, no information but this 2 songs are fucking awesome. IT remind me Springhill stuff. And another american band Birthrite - they played 90's newschool hardcore. It is really hard to describe their music but they are great. So enjoy!

restrain

Restrain were a straight edge band from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, a suburb just outside of Kansas City. From the cover art to the lyrics, one gets a real sense of straight edge militancy from Restrain on this 7”, but one thing that you might not guess from that statement is that the singer of Restrain was Sean Ingram. Yes, that Sean Ingram. The one that fashioned a new reputation for himself by talking endless shit about straight edge in his next band, Coalesce. Released in 1993 on Chapter Records, this 7” is a good representation of what one would think of when they hear the term “90’s vegan straight edge”.

statue

Alex & Chris from Chain Of Strength put forward a project that leans much closer to the Dischord sound of the mid 80’s as opposed to the Minor Threat influenced Chain. The presence of early post hardcore DC bands’ influence doesn’t stifle their own energy. Track down the “Something To Say” demo, later released on Ambassador Records under the name Statue, this demo predates Filter The Infection and is the bridge between that release and their days in Chain Of Strength.
