First seven inch is really cool - in the vein of Burn, Inside Out. I like to listen it for many times. But release on Hardline Records in 1990 is really shit. It sounds like my grandfather start singing in this band. Also I dislike lyrics - they are typical. This guys started cloning Vegan Reich and nothing more. But without this seven inches history of 90's vegan sxe will be uncomplete so I put them here.
Dim-Mak is vegan sxe metalcore from Roma Straight Edge Crew as I know. They were on Surrounded Records. This guys played heavy metalcore in the vein of Unconquered, Unbron, Slavearc - really cool band. Check it!

ReplyDeletethanks man
ReplyDeleteI will try to find more info
a friend who runs http://www.onexpath.blogspot.com blog told me he has the record and the postage address was washington state, usa. Charlie. vVv
ReplyDeleteUK Statement has great song on Stones to Mark a Fire compilation... :)
ReplyDeleteStatement "don't sacrifice me" was from San Diego and had Greg Anderson (ex brotherhood, now of SunnO))) and Southern Lord records) on 2nd guitar. Definite mid 80s DC emo influence. Battery records was from Seattle, WA area. This band was NOT hardline!
ReplyDeleteThe UK Statement is a one-man project band that was focused around the vegan Hardline movement. two separate bands, not to be confused.
in the early 80's the uk statement was focused on the anarcho punk movement I love the uk statement's early stuff there later stuff is to Vegan Reich for me
Deleteand dim mak was from denver colorado in usa.
ReplyDelete...the Statement "don't sacrifice me" 7 inch featured a post-Brotherhood (and pre-Galeons Lap / Engine Kid / Burning Witch / Goatsnake / Sunn o))) / Burial Chamber Trio / Ascend / Steely Dan) Greg Anderson on vocals, not 2nd guitar.
